Scope and Processing Principles
This policy applies to the vpntea.com marketing pages, user panel, and network acceleration services provided by VPNTea. Data is processed only as needed to provide accounts, subscriptions, payments, connections, and support, and is retained according to its purpose. No email address is required for registration: users can create an account with a username and password.
When users access external websites or services, those providers handle data under their own policies. Third-party websites, applications, and payment channels are outside this policy's control, so their privacy notices should be reviewed separately.
Data Collected and Its Uses
Account data includes the username, authentication information, subscription status, and account settings. It is used to identify the account, maintain login sessions, deliver subscriptions, and handle support requests. Order data includes the selected plan, amount due and paid, payment channel, order status, creation time, and refund records. This data supports settlement, reconciliation, fulfillment, and dispute handling.
Website analytics may include visited pages, referring pages, browser and device categories, approximate region, page interactions, and technical error information. These data help verify that pages work properly, improve content structure, and identify abnormal access. Device details, error messages, and activity records voluntarily included in support requests are used only to address the relevant issue; unrelated information may be covered before submission.
No-Logs Position and Connection Data
VPNTea does not record which websites users visit, retain webpage content, queries, or in-app communications, or build a browsing history that can be traced to specific activity. The service does not combine destinations visited with accounts into long-term connection logs.
When a connection is established, the system temporarily processes technical data such as authentication status, route selection, and traffic measurement during the session. This confirms an active subscription and completes network forwarding. Temporary connection status needed for the session is cleared when the connection ends; the account retains only information required for subscription delivery, remaining traffic, and service operation. If more detail is needed for troubleshooting, users may provide it voluntarily through a support ticket.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics
The website may use Cookies or browser local storage to save login sessions, language selection, interface preferences, and necessary security status. These items keep selected settings available when users move between pages and avoid repeated authentication. Removing them may sign users out or restore default preferences, but will not prevent access to public pages.
Analytics are used to summarize page visit trends and interactions, not to create records of users browsing international websites. Users can restrict or clear Cookies and local storage through browser settings. If storage needed to maintain a session is disabled, some user panel features may not remain continuous.
Payments and Third-Party Processing
VPNTea supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment instructions and payment credentials are handled by the relevant payment channel under its rules. VPNTea receives the transaction status, amount, channel, and transaction reference needed to complete orders, verify payments, and process refunds. Each payment channel's own policy applies to data handled within its systems.
Relevant order information is shared between VPNTea and payment processors only when necessary to complete payment, handle disputes, meet legal obligations, or protect transaction security. Payment data is not used for marketing lists unrelated to subscription fulfillment.
Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates
Account information is generally retained until the account is deleted. Analytics are kept for the period needed for aggregated analysis. Support ticket materials are retained until the issue and any necessary follow-up checks are complete. Order, payment, and refund records may be retained for financial reconciliation, dispute handling, or legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified when the retention basis ends.
Users may enter the user panel and submit a ticket to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information. Requests should be submitted while logged in to the relevant account so the account connection can be verified. After an account is deleted, data required to continue retaining transaction records may not be deleted at the same time, but its use will remain limited to the original compliance purposes.
If this policy changes, the revised text will be published on this page and the last-updated date at the top will be changed. Important changes to the scope of data processing may also be described in a website notice or the user panel. Users should review the policy version in effect before continuing to use the service.
Privacy requests: Log in to the user panel and submit a ticket so account ownership can be verified and the request followed up.
